This application is an integrated solution of Mitsubishi Electric’s industrial robot (MELFA-FR Series) with vision sensor (MELSENSOR VS20) for inspection process.

In general, the performance of vision sensor has a limitation of fixed focus and resolution. Consequently, there are some difficulties for using only vision sensor individually. With this integrated solution (Robot and Vision Sensor), it enhances the capabilities for inspection process not just only variety of distance from vision sensor to workspace but also enable to apply this solution for inspection in large area. By mounting vision sensor with robot arm, the robot will support adjustment of distance to encourage vision sensor to operate in the most appropirate range. This lead to better efficiency and flexibiliy in inspection process.

โดยทั่วไปแล้ววิชั่นเซนเซอร์จะทำงานภายใต้ข้อจำกัดของระยะโฟกัสเดียวและค่า resolution ด้วยโซลูชั่นการทำงานระหว่างโรบอทและวิชั่นเซนเซอร์นี้ ช่วยเพิ่มความสามรถของการตรวจสอบงานให้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้นทั้งในเรื่องของความหลากหลายที่ต้องใช้สำหรับการโฟกัสชิ้นงาน และการใช้งานในพื้นที่บริเวณกว้าง โดยการติดวิชั่นเซนเซอร์ไว้ที่แขนโรบอทนั้น ทำให้โรบอทช่วยซัพพอร์ตการทำงานของวิชั่นด้วยการปรับระยะในการทำงานของวิชั่นเซนเซอร์ได้หลากหลายตำแหน่งเพื่อให้การใช้งานของกล้องวิชั่นมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด นำมาซึ่งประสิทธิภาพที่ขึ้นและความยืดหยุ่นในการประยุกต์ใช้งาน”
